Bournemouth Sports Table Tennis ClubBournemouth Sports Table Tennis Club has a very active coaching environment where players of all ages can learn the skills of table tennis and increase their enjoyment of the game.

The club has a number of qualified coaches who provide a wide variety of experience at all levels.
For Juniors, a dedicated coaching session takes place every Saturday morning between 09:00 am and 12:30 noon.
New players, beginners and intermediates should attend from 11.00 to 12.30.

Private coaching can also be arranged dependent upon availability.

We have a unique arrangement with the internationally renowned coach, Rowden Fullen.
Rowden is based at the club coaching members and assessing player ability and development.
He is often taking our young players abroad for training, competitions or National League play.
Rowden coaches club members and England internationals such as Hannah Hicks, Tressa Armitage and budding potential like Hugo Pang.

Colin is club Chairman and part of the coaching staff since he qualified to level 2.
He has been ever present at the Saturday morning Bournemouth Table Tennis Association coaching sessions.
Colin now coaches on Saturday mornings on behalf of the club and it’s members.

Andy is a founder member of the club and a ETTA level 2 coach.
He took his level 2 coaching course at the same time as the chairman Colin and was part of a team of club coaches in the 1990’s.

Stephen is a regular club and County Senior player and a full-time Table Tennis coach doing group and one to one coaching sessions at the club and at other venues in the South. Even though he only qualified as a coach in 2010 he has played since 2003 and has had experience coaching in Sweden as well as in many different parts of the UK. He is a UKCC level 2 coach and is working towards his level 3 and coaches people of all ages and levels including many members of the club.

The club can also call upon the services of ex-national coach Brian Burn.
Brian coached the national team in 1974-76, has a wealth of experience and is always pleased to advise members.
He is a keen league player who still practices reguarly
